| These Bonito Flakes “Katsuo Bushi” are produced by Yamaki USA., inc., the first company in the U.S. to produce dried bonito shavings and dried fish powder to provide freshly shaved Katsuo Bushi to US market. Both items are made with the highest quality bonito fish from Indonesia. Yamaki Hon-Katsuo is made with bonitos caught by fishing with a pole known as “Ippon-zuri” to keep the fish undamaged during the fishing process.
