SAKE OF THE MONTH
Most Japanese beers are primarily brewed using imported barley, however, this Hyakumangoku Beer series; crafted by Waku Waku Tezukuri Farm Kawakita, are made by brewers who invested their hearts and souls in growing the best barley to live up to their belief and motto: “beer making starts from barley making.”
PALE ALE : Slight bitterness from hops give this beer a clean and refreshing after taste.
KOSHIHIKARI RICE ALE : Locally grown Koshihikari rice is used to produce this light beer. This beer pairs especially well with Japanese and asian dishes.
DARK ALE : The wheat used to produced this beer was grown by the brewer. It’s a very flavorful beer with a little hint of bitterness from the hop.
WEIZEN : New product; fruity beer with a lot of umami from the wheat.
