KUROSAKI KNIVES

Yu Kurosaki is a young blacksmith operating in Takefu who has achieved international acclaim for his inventive forged knife designs. His patterns, including the new ‘Shizuku’ line we carry, are riffs on more standard Tsuchime/hammered patterns. These knives are exceedingly thin and made from R2, which offers excellent edge retention. As these knives are so thin and hard we recommend that care be taken during use – they will excel at precision cuts and other general prep.”
