‘Kaisen don’ in Japanese is a combination of the words ‘seafood’ and ‘rice bowl’. Thus, ‘kaisen don’ is a seafood rice bowl. Since kaisen don is very easy to prepare and filling, it is becoming a very popular take-out / delivery item.
